Saturday was one of those blessed days. I spent the morning cleaning while Patience and Wheels went grocery shopping. Drama spent the morning being cute.
The afternoon was spent with new friends from Tribe (a new local church in the beginning stages), eating freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and playing video games.
The evening was spent with old friends, eating excellent food (one brought Chicken Cacciatore, mmm), and we had a baked white chocolate cheesecake (which thankfully turned out just great) with raspberry coulis. Mmm. And lots of talking.
I think Patience caught me mid-hair flick AND mid laugh. 'Tis a bit of an awkward look I think.
Anyway. As the door shut on the final guests, I felt tired but thankful. We do have some pretty good friends. (And a pretty good camera too, Patience saw the Pentax K-X on sale just for the weekend. We love it, but we're stuffed if the washing machine breaks, that was our emergency money!)
Has anyone else spent some really good quality time with friends recently?
